SPECIAL: Best 1980s Teen Movies

Last month (May) I didn't do much blogging, but I was watching plenty of movies since May. I've been revisiting favorites and finally watching those classic teen movies from the 1980s I hadn't seen. I thought I'd make my list of my current favorite 10--but first, I must define "teen movie." To me, a good "teen movie" must have four elements:

• Main characters (and supporting roles) are all young adults/teenagers
• High school or college is the main setting
• Relationships are one of the main plot lines
• Popular music (1980s, in this case) soundtrack

That being said, I searched many different websites for previously created lists, and here's my own:
